Welcome to Moku. Moku is an iOS application published by Calm Delight LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Moku, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Moku is a read-it-later reader. You save web and WeChat articles, read them offline, and may optionally request AI summaries and translations. Fetching and offline reading work without an account. AI features send article text through our gateway as described in the Privacy Policy.
3. Your Content
You retain all rights to the articles and files you save. You are responsible for only saving content you are allowed to keep for personal reading. We claim no ownership over your library.
4. Purchases
If Moku offers paid features, payments are processed through Apple’s App Store. By making a purchase, you agree to Apple’s terms for in-app purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple. We cannot process refunds directly.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use Moku only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app
- Not abuse the AI gateway (including automated extraction at a scale that interferes with the service)
6. Intellectual Property
Moku and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Calm Delight LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Moku is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that extracted articles will be complete, or that AI summaries or translations will be accurate.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calm Delight LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Moku.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by other means. Continued use of Moku after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
