LifeGrid ("we", "our", or "us") is an iOS application published by Calm Delight LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. LifeGrid is built on a simple principle: your time data belongs to you. The app has no accounts, no servers of its own, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
LifeGrid does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. There is no sign-up, no cloud database, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDK. The only information we can ever receive is feedback you explicitly choose to send us (see Section 6).
2. Your Calendar Data
LifeGrid reads and writes events directly in Apple Calendar via Apple’s EventKit framework, entirely on your device. Your events never leave your device through LifeGrid. If your calendars sync via iCloud or another service, that sync is performed by iOS and governed by that service’s policy — LifeGrid does not participate in it.
3. Location
When you attach a location to an event, LifeGrid can search for places or read your current location once, only at your explicit request. The result is saved into the event in your own calendar. LifeGrid never tracks your location in the background.
4. Mood Emoji
Daily mood emoji are stored as all-day events in a dedicated "LifeGrid" calendar inside your own calendar account. They remain fully under your control and can be deleted at any time in Apple Calendar.
5. Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details. Entitlement status is verified on-device with Apple.
6. Feedback — the Only Data You Can Choose to Send
If you choose to send feedback, we receive:
- Your message and an optional name
- App version, device model, and OS version
- Region and time zone
- Your purchase status (e.g. trial, subscribed, lifetime)
- Up to 100 recent diagnostic log lines from the app
Diagnostic logs never include your calendar content. We use this information solely to respond to your feedback and improve the app. We never sell it, and we delete it once it is no longer needed. You may request deletion of feedback you have sent at any time by contacting us.
7. Widget
The lock screen widget shares your display preferences (language, week start, selected calendars) with the main app through Apple’s App Group storage, entirely on your device.
8. Children’s Privacy
LifeGrid does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
